Carried forward on October 28, 2026. October 26 results, recorded October 27, still labelled unofficial by the City.

Olivia Chow has won a second term as Toronto mayor, CityNews reports after the October 26 election. Brad Bradford conceded defeat and said he called the mayor to wish her success. [2]

The count

The city’s October 27 tally, timestamped 1:10:35 a.m., shows 532,201 votes for Chow, or 54.16%, against Bradford’s 404,013 votes and 41.11%. All 1,431 polls have reported. [1]

The remaining qualification

The city labels these results unofficial. A complete tally of reporting polls should therefore not be confused with certified results. [1]

After the campaign

CityNews reports that Chow acknowledged her opponent’s ideas and their shared commitment to Toronto. The outlet notes that she was first elected in 2023. [2]
