The recall concerns 65 g packages distributed in Quebec and Ontario. The original September 10 notice was corrected on September 11.

Public-service update: September 10 recall, code corrected September 11, media coverage September 12.

The CFIA recall, for possible Salmonella contamination, covers PK Roasted Lemon N’ Chilli Peanuts in 65 g packages: UPC 6 28998 00124 5, batch CN94. [1]

Check the code: the corrected notice states “BB: 2027/JN/30”. The agency says not to consume the recalled product, and to discard it or return it to the place of purchase. [1]

CityNews covered the recall on September 12, noting distribution in Quebec and Ontario. That coverage date does not represent a new recall. The corrected official notice is the reference to consult when identifying the product. [2]
